The Andean Condor belongs to the Vultur family and is the largest flying bird in the world. It is also one of the world’s longest-living birds, with a lifespan of over 70 years in some cases. Its habitat is mainly composed of open grasslands and highland areas up to 5,000 mts. in elevation. It plays an important role in the folklore of the Andean Regions and that is why we find it in many art representations. In this case Milon Ríos, our artisan, has made a handcrafted version in recycled glass. It is carefully made and has details in liquid gold paint. In this set the tallest measures 10 cms.
